In the Drivers Seat Support Coordination is based in Stroud, NSW. Tracy spends most her days remotely in the Newcastle/Hunter region and has contractors that are mobile as well based across the Hunter including Newcastle, Dungog Shire, Lake Macquarie & Central Coast. Providing Independent Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination & Plan Management services for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants across NSW. Our founder, Tracy Clarke and staff recognise that participants have an overwhelming need to become empowered through their NDIS plans. In the Drivers Seat will work and collaborate alongside our participants, staff & stakeholders to achieve our participants goals and inspire their personal independence as the outcome to our service.
Our founder and staff have experience in all areas of NDIS, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Disability, Mental Health, and small business. Working together we have developed an approach to provide developmentally-appropriate guidance for the coordination of NDIS participant’s funds. Using person-focused practice & technology, our approach tracks independence and quality during your journey with us.

With the experience and expertise to guide you through your journey. We are actively supporting NDIS participant’s to bring their plan to life, achieve their goals and access the services they need to live an everyday life.
Starting and managing an NDIS plan can be stressful and confusing. It is our mission to offer individualised supports, in meaningful and transparent ways, so that the initial complexities and ongoing responsibilities of being an NDIS participant don’t get in the way of you living your best life.

Our Services In the Drivers Seat aims to provide participants of all ages and need levels with easy access to quality, personalised independent support to implement and manage their NDIS plan. Allowing participants to maximise their independence and participation in everyday activities by being the drivers of their own life. Our support coordination & specialist support coordination services are currently only available to NDIS participants whose plans are PLAN or SELF managed. So make sure you identify during your planning meeting or at review that you need your support coordination budget to be PLAN or SELF managed and identify our business as your nominated provider. The legislation allows this, as sometimes the NDIS need reminding that they cannot restrict the management of this budget to registered providers only.

In the Drivers Seat services are available remotely, online platforms or from our office in Stroud and mobile coordinators providing participants greater flexibility to choose the right level of support. We will also support you via phone, FaceTime, Skype, email and SMS.
We try where it is possible to conduct the initial meeting face to face in person. If this isn't possible, we will try and schedule a video link.
